As a Consultant Relationship Specialist, you will be a member the Institutional Sales Group within the Capital Group’s North American Client Group.  Your sales efforts will be focused on positioning Capital Group as the active investment manager of choice, providing superior service, sales and marketing experience while broadening our business.  You will represent all of Capital’s investment services while building and maintaining high quality relationships with Institutional Consultants and OCIO Firms. You will take on significant client/prospect responsibility and will partner with the Relationship Manager and Internal Sales & Support in order to carry out those duties .

  • You have proven success in executing on new business initiatives by effectively communicating with external stakeholders and navigating across internal business units.
  • You are detail oriented and can Identify and implement improvements to servicing efforts to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
  • You are a creative thinker and can develop unique business opportunities and retention strategies by gathering intelligence.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of the investment industry with a firm grasp on current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the department and business area.
  • You can demonstrate knowledge about topics including asset allocation, investment products and strategies, financial markets and/or have attained or are in pursuit of MBA or CFA designations
  • You have excellent communication skills and can present Capital’s culture, processes and offerings to clients and prospects.
  • You have a Series 6, 7, 63, 82 and 65 or equivalent of at least 5-10 years industry experience.
