Global Finance partners with Capital Group business units to proactively provide relevant, timely and accurate financial reporting, innovative analysis and business insights that impact strategic decision-making while protecting the interests of investors/clients, associates and CG shareholders.


As the Global Finance Senior Manager - Corporate FP&A, you will play a critical role in delivering enterprise integrated strategic financial planning, reporting and business decision support to corporate level senior management and governance groups, including CG Business Management Group (BMG), Capital Operating Group (COG), CG Management Committee (CGMC), CG Board, and external Fund Boards. Working with Global Finance executives, including the CFO, and business leaders across the organization, you will find value in contributing to critical decisions impacting Capital’s long-term strategy. To thrive in this role, you will build a high performing team, shape the corporate FP&A function and its impact, and provide thought leadership to progress Capital’s operate smartly objectives. As a member of the senior management team for Global Finance, you will work in partnership with senior finance leadership and business leaders to shape and deliver value added Corporate FP&A capabilities and services, as well as have broad responsibilities for setting long-term strategic objectives for the department and direct involvement in talent development of associates and managers.


Your scope will include driving CG integrated financial planning to support Capital’s long-term strategy and business roadmaps, including enterprise financial guidance setting, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial dashboard reporting and analytics; oversee and lead teams executing enterprise level strategic financial reporting and analysis; and lead the development and deployment of an enterprise financial planning and management reporting framework, capital allocation methodology, and related technical solutions.

  • You have a degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA strongly desired, and have at least 5 years in a people and senior functional leadership role, prior corporate FP&A experience strongly desired.
