As a Human Resources Analytics Business Partner based in Irvine or Los Angeles, CA, you will have the unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise with your desire to innovate and create the new and different. You will analyze complex data, identify trends and  correlations, and turn information into business intelligence for our HR organization and HR initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving our reporting and analytics into actionable insights globally and across all lines of business at Capital Group.


You will create data visualizations that make complex data easier to understand and package the data story into a polished presentation for a diverse set of audiences, including senior leaders. You will design and create business analysis and models to answer people related business questions. We will leverage your expertise to lead the delivery of an analytics dashboard, evolving and creating new dashboard content and provide training and support in rolling out self-service analytics that include content in analysis  approach, storytelling with data, visualization principles and statistical concepts. To thrive in this role, you have a depth and breadth of analytics experience and enjoy digging into data.

  • You’ve had previous experience in conducting advanced analytics with cross-functional data (e.g Workforce/People Analytics, Compensation, Finance, and/or Customer Insights).
  • You’re well versed in Tableau and have experience working with Alteryx and Workday.
  • Your career has been focused on translating data and insights into meaningful stories to drive strategy and decision making at all levels within an organization.
  • You have plenty of examples of times when you needed to grasp complex situations quickly and find creative solutions to unfamiliar problems.
  • You are a skilled communicator. You place a high value on being authentic, respectful, and engaging. You’ve facilitated a variety of successful meetings ranging in size, with diverse audiences.
  • You’ve led mid-sized to large scale projects and have strong time management skills that enable you to successfully prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
