As a People Analytics Manager based in our Irvine, CA office, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and setting the business goals for the HR Analytics team. You will have the unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and passion for managing people with your desire to innovate and create the new and different.  Your team will be responsible for analyzing complex data, identify trends and correlations, and turn information into useful business intelligence for our HR organization and HR initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving our reporting and analytics into actionable insights globally across all lines of business. 
 
Responsibilities:
•Manage Analytics team to ensure execution on the vision, goals, objectives for the Analytics and Reporting capability 
•Create and manage the annual planning and prioritization of the Analytics roadmap ensuring stakeholder needs are met 
•Partner with senior business and HR leaders to identify key insights, metrics, trends and analysis that shape Capital Group’s people strategy
•Deliver data visualizations that make complex data easier to understand, and package the data story into a polished presentation for leadership audiences
•Develop business cases, implement and supports multiple reporting and analytics tools in order to build and roll-out enterprise level dashboards and insights frameworks
•Evolve the analytics and reporting portfolio through analytics technology platforms focused on unifying disparate HR analytics and retiring redundant toolsets
•Manage the implementation and ongoing support of enterprise level dashboards for workforce planning, people insights, and talent management KPIs, providing visibility to business impacts of HR programs at the enterprise level
•Oversee operating procedures for data management, testing, and ongoing validations to maintain accuracy and integrity in the workforce analytics systems
•Evolve team expertise in providing people insights, linking observations to people strategy, statistical analysis (e.g. regression analysis, classification, predictive modeling, develop research and development initiatives to meet future analytics needs
 
Qualifications:
•7+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 4 years supporting an HR Organization’s analytics needs 
•Demonstrated ability to building high performing teams, creating strong morale, and coaching team members to refine consulting and influencing skills
•Demonstrates Leading Capital expectations by setting the tone, engaging people, driving the business, and challenging themselves
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively deliver important messages across a diverse group of associates and senior leaders
•Experience conducting advance analytics and linkage studies (e.g., predictive turnover modeling, associate engagement, and business performance linkages)
•Experience in one or more of the following analytics tools: SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics, SAP BW, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, R, SPSS, SAS, or Advanced Excel
•Experience in ERP or Cloud Systems: SAP, SuccessFactors or Workday 
•Project and time management skills; can lead multiple small to medium projects simultaneously with ability to prioritize varying deadlines
•Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master’s preferred
