Our Office Services (OS) organization enriches the experience of working at Capital through our local site operations and various functional groups such as Corporate Facilities, Meetings and Events, Security and Travel. As a Senior Security Manager in the Office Services group, based in either our Irvine or Los Angeles office, you will play a key role to facilitate a positive and safe environment for associates while leading innovation on corporate security practices. Reporting to the Director of OS Operations, the Senior Security Manager will be responsible for the overall management, development, and implementation of Capital Group’s global physical security strategy as well as the active management of workplace violence concerns.  You will serve as subject matter expert on best practices in security for associates, physical sites and travel security functions and will have the ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders across the organization.


  • Establish global physical Security objectives and manage outcomes; focus on CG security improvement opportunities, industry best practices, and new security innovations
  • Implement and maintain workplace violence prevention training program for all associates; manage and grow security awareness communication campaign to increase global security mindfulness.
  • Oversee situations of potential workplace violence – actively managing current cases and monitoring dormant cases
  • Establish and administer security response routine training for front-line associates, Human Resources, and Security Coordinating Group
  • Participate in High Risk Travel process with the Travel team to establish at-risk destination criteria and monitoring process
  • Collaborate with local Offices Services teams globally on local security initiatives; provide direction and vendor management for guard service related to ongoing oversight and expectation setting



  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Security management with a minimum of 3-5 years of direct responsibility for global security in a corporate environment
  • Experience managing security vendors and security vendor contracts
  • Demonstrated Subject Matter expertise in current and cutting edge physical security best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in partnering with international colleagues to drive mission objectives while recognizing the value and complexity of regional nuances
  • A skilled communicator with strong leadership, communication and written skills to influence and instill confidence at all levels and in all geographies
  • A four year degree is required; physical security certification (i.e. CPP) is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel frequently between the Los Angeles and Irvine offices
