The Technology Rotational Experience (TREx) is a 2-year development-centric program. As a TREx Associate, you will complete three eight-month rotations in our Southern California office(s) working in areas such as solutions engineering, architecture, emerging technologies, technology support, project management or business operations management. You will learn how information technology elevates our ability to provide the best investment platforms for our customers, the fundamentals of the investment management process and how the Capital System has sustained superior results over time.


What you may do:

  • End-to-end solution delivery for a specific feature(s) within a product. Contribute to solution delivery through activities such as analysis, development, testing, development and support.
  • Perform analysis and research on emerging technologies, examines industry trends, and creates written research reports.  Present briefings and drive lab experiments to formulate a position on what technology trends and products are of most value to us in pursuing our business and technology strategies.
  • Support Capital Group’s business cycles through implementation and integration of technology, office systems and other supported technologies.
  • Analyze, track and report during all phases of the project lifecycle. Provide project support to project management team for planning, organization and execution of projects.
  • Provide analytical and coordination support for IT Business Operations functions. Coordinate and support IT business operations, including communications, portfolio management, resource management, data analytics, and/or metrics tracking.
  • Maximize learning and networking through each rotational experience to build a strong foundation of technical skills, business integration and industry/domain/technology knowledge.


Who we're looking for:

  • You are currently a senior pursuing a technically focused Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Decision or Info Analytics, Data Science or equivalent.
  • You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • You have a real passion for Technology.
  • You have demonstrated leadership in extra-curricular activities.
  • You express ideas effectively and interact professionally with others.
  • You are a continuous learner, with a hunger for knowledge.
  • You are highly collaborative.
