Our Private Client Services business was founded more than four decades ago as a family office for Capital Group’s senior executives and their families. As a Client Account Administration Team Manager, you will manage day-to-day activities and operations for the Client Account Administration Team (CAAT), who is primarily responsible for account onboarding, cash and asset movement, record retention, and compliance. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach and oversees the performance and development of a multi-office team of associates that supports the Private Client Services (PCS) Investment Counselors and Client Relationship team in all PCS locations. 
  • Provide leadership to build effective teams through a high degree of influence, communication and drive for results. 
  • Focus on current and future planning based on business needs and initiatives set forth by the business. Uses professional concepts, business objectives and creativity to deliver effective solutions to complex problems to meet our clients’ needs. Leads or participates in projects or initiatives.
  • Work closely with Team Leads to analyze/revise workflow as needed. Continues to assess workflow to identify efficiencies and streamline opportunities on an ongoing basis. 
  • Proactively engage with external partners to ensure business needs are being met.
  • Serve as an escalation point on service issues and guide team to resolution.
  • Through innovation, identify opportunities for new projects by assessing the current environment and applying understanding of current and future business needs. 
     

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years financial services experience, high net worth or wealth management experience preferred.
  • 3+ years operational people management experience.
  • Demonstrate broad working knowledge of the department’s functional responsibilities and interdependencies with various business partners, and an in-depth knowledge of functional team responsibilities, procedures, risks and controls. 
  • Ability to lead and manage meetings, initiatives and projects across multiple teams or groups. 
  • In-depth knowledge of wealth management industry for high net worth clients, account structure, investment strategies, account transactional activity, audit and compliance, reporting and the regulatory environment. Exhibits knowledge of current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the department/business area. 
  • Intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in areas of high complexity, ambiguity and diversity. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Microsoft and other business applications and ability to assess and manage system risks. 
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
