As our Climate Integration Senior Manager, you will lead our work on climate analysis and integrating climate into our investment process, with a focus on impacts across portfolios. You will work closely with investors on education, analysis, and tools that help them to effectively understand and manage climate risk. You will partner with key stakeholders across Capital’s business, serving as the subject matter expert on how climate might impact investment, as well as work closely with our team of ESG sector specialists around climate risk and company engagement.

  • You are passionate about climate, bringing deep expertise in the field of climate science, as well as the first, second and third order impacts of climate on investments and companies.

  • You are analytical and data savvy, familiar with climate models, including scenario analysis, physical and transition risk, and can build understandable models with multiple sources to show different scenarios working our ESG data scientists.

  • You are technically savvy and innovative, possessing the ability to evaluate and explain common tools used by investors to incorporate climate change risk, including carbon foot printing, carbon value at risk, ability to evaluate implied temperature rises and assess investment implications.

  • You are knowledgeable in Net Zero, EU taxonomy, science-based target setting, as well as global climate policy and implications, and stay abreast of relevant information, issues, and trends in the field.

  • You are familiar with investment, different asset classes, portfolio management, and fundamental analysis.

  • You are a skilled researcher, able to deliver insightful, original research on aspects of climate change.

  • You are collaborative, partnering seamlessly across Capital Group and bring a strong network of others in the climate field (e.g. academics, regulators, companies)
