Our Corporate Communications & Archives team is looking for Corporation Communications Insights and Measurement, Senior Specialist that is a data and insight enthusiast to support our mission of engaging, aligning and inspiring the 9,000 associates at Capital Group. You’ll help us ensure that the voice of our associates is loud and clear as we develop our communication programs. You’ll lead our measurement operation, responsible for metrics, analytics and research. The insights you gather will be applied to optimize our message development, storytelling, communication campaigns and overall associate experience. You’ll provide strategic advice and counsel to our team and key senior business leaders. You’ll be dedicated to the Corporate Communications & Archives team but have a longer-term career path and development support from the fast growing Global Insights & Analytical function.   Above all, you’ll be a fierce advocate for associates.

You can develop and execute insights program in support of internal communications and corporate archives with an eye toward measuring not just what we do, but the effectiveness of our efforts.

  • You can develop a common measurement framework to assess the effectiveness of our communication efforts including email, video, web, live and virtual events and the intersection of those channels. Encapsulate vital data in a dashboard that provides an at-a-glance assessment of the effectiveness of our communication activities. Partner with the team to establish success metrics for communication.
  • You can work with the team to prepare quarterly and ad hoc reports and analysis. Share insights with the team and senior business leaders along with recommendations for improvements.
  • You can strengthen our listening post to gather information from associates in an integrative fashion.  This includes using qualitative and quantitative research such as surveys, focus groups, individual interviews, search and digital data, web and email feedback and other mechanisms to assess associate sentiment and reaction to communication.
  • You can proactively recommend when additional research is needed.
  • You can understand when a research project needs your expertise and when you can provide light consulting while teaching someone else to conduct their own research.
  • You can develop a set of personas for various constituent groups that will help the team tailor communication more effectively.
  • You can help us journey map key associate experiences to identify and minimize pain points in common activities.
  • You can develop and manage project schedules for all measurement programs. Facilitate meetings, providing opportunities for stakeholders to provide input while driving towards decisions. Ensure all members of the project team are apprised of project status, required deliverables, the review process and the completion schedule.
  • You can keep abreast of company and industry issues. Continually tracks best practices in communication measurement and associate engagement. Applies appropriate practices to the work at Capital. Shares ideas within the team and client groups as appropriate.

  • You demonstrate sound judgment in resolving complex matters.
  • You demonstrate ability to plan processes and work for a group or team to assure work is completed in a timely manner.
  • You demonstrate effectiveness in leading/facilitating meetings with senior business leaders on broad, controversial and sensitive topics inside and outside the organization.
  • You consistently demonstrate the ability to evaluate and appropriately address privacy and confidentiality concerns when working with others (or associates outside the department or group).
  • You have knowledge and experience using Google Analytics and Tableau.
