Within Capital Group, North American Distribution (NAD) oversees sales and distribution for North America across various client groups including: individual investors, retirement plans and institutional clients.  Their efforts are focused on positioning Capital Group as the active investment manager of choice, providing superior service, sales and marketing experience while broadening our business.


The Enterprise Client Services (ECS) team, is one of the two major pillars of Next Gen Distribution (NGD) and a critical part of our vision for the future of Distribution.  ECS will ensure Capital Group is best positioned to deliver strategies and services differentiated for client business objectives/priorities by maximizing the resources within NAD. 
Reporting to the Head of ECS, the Institutional Retirement ECS Analyst will work side-by-side with the ECS Institutional Retirement lead to help support the work to define how Capital Group can be a differentiated and indispensable partner to drive our Institutional Retirement clients’ business success by leveraging our internal capabilities to turn their priorities into a fully realized investment at scale.



• Supports the Long Term Strategy & Plan for ECS
• Maintains a pulse on industry trends, competitive environment, and best practices and provides recommendations
• Develop and maintain business performance including contribution to WM and IR business goals
• Provide business leadership on data strategy, acquisition, analytics and integration with plan sponsor/record-keeper
• Leads and assists in creation of a variety of deliverables, for example - market assessments, capability assessments, gap analyses, business strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans
• Leads day-to-day delivery activities to include:
• Working with a cross functional team including clients and vendors to deliver outcomes
• Participating in project definition and idea generation
• Planning & executing key modules for discrete projects or subsets of projects


We’re looking for someone that has / is:
• Ability to work through ambiguity
• Strong strategic mindset
• Industry experience Institutional Retirement a huge plus!
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and through formal presentation
• Demonstrated ability to frame and drive high quality analysis to distill key strategic insights to support executive decision making.  This includes including competitive research, financial analysis, business impact and cost/benefit analysis, business case development.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize data and create presentation materials for an executive audience including recommendations and trade-offs
• Highly results oriented, organized and resourceful
• Able to work independently and as an integral part of a high performing team


• Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree (particularly MBA) is a plus
• Experience with innovative product development
• Background in consulting is a plus
• 4+ Years of experience with complex and strategic projects whilst navigating broad complex organizations
