As a Product Manager and Owner within NACG, you will be a key member of the leadership team of the Finance & Sales Compensation group, working in a project-based environment on key business initiatives. You will develop and own the product vision and define customer needs for the foundational solutions that enable a best-in-class Sales and Service experience in Capital Group’s Distribution organizations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Leadership, IT and Home Office Service Team to develop the corresponding product roadmaps and ensure scope prioritization aligns with business outcomes in an ever-changing Agile environment with shifting business priorities. You will help translate product requirements into user stories for development and define the scope of user acceptance testing and facilitate the planning, execution and sign-off. You will have the opportunity to train and mentor more junior team members in product management competencies and skillset and manage and/or contribute to product management guidelines and framework for the team.

  • You have at least 5-7 years of experience in enterprise product management for cloud-based or SaaS applications; you have significant experience as a Product Owner in your past roles

  • You look forward to the opportunity to build, own, and drive product strategy and roadmaps from concept to launch, and you are experienced in driving buy-in from key business leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

  • You are excited to partner with senior leaders across the Enterprise as a thought leader and a trusted collaborator, and excited to serve as a mentor and leader for more junior members of the team

  • You have a proven ability to identify your customer’s needs and enjoy inventing new ways to meet those needs

  • You are a natural problem solver with demonstrated success identifying and solving ambiguous problems

  • You have knowledge or background in multiple functional areas, including business analysis, product requirement gathering, and user experience and adoption

  • You have experience delivering briefings and presentations on product strategy and roadmap to leaders and key stakeholders within business and IT
