We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Events Strategist with proven success identifying, developing and delivering strategic events (large and small) which successfully target specific client segments, build brand awareness, drive leads and have a measurable ROI. 

Recent technical advancements are creating opportunities for never-conceived-before ideas, strategies and creativity.  This role must strategize, create, measure and manage in the new experience economy.  The candidate should be an effective leader and strong communicator who will work in coordination with marketing, business leadership and internal events teams to identify opportunities, and deliver events, which increase client engagement and drive new business.  This is an ideal role for someone who is excited by the challenge of improving business results through transformative customer experiences that will have high impact on our business.  

Your Impact:

  • Lead market research, competitive intelligence and needs-assessment initiatives, to guide program development and creation of a robust events portfolio within PCS
  • Ensure the events portfolio delivers the optimal event must-attend value proposition to clients, prospects and centers of influence 
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales organization to build pipeline-generating programs which ensure maximum ROI that are on-brand and in line with the overarching strategic brand framework
  • Unify and engage key stakeholders—including sales and executive team—at start of the content planning process to identify overall event themes mapped to content strategy and organization goals 
  • Strategically approach each event with a fresh perspective, identifying opportunities to infuse creativity throughout; pull in best practices and offer engaging solutions
  • Project manage the overall event strategy from vision to impeccable execution 
  • Build strategic partnerships across the organization with management, advisors, marketing, event production and technology teams, compliance, etc.
  • Stay current on latest trends and opportunities in event marketing and production 
  • Develop a dashboard to measure each event/campaign against key metrics and KPI’s; provide recommendations for future enhancements and optimization
  • Provide thoughtful leadership, mentorship and guidance to the Private Client Coordinators inside of each region across the nation (Coordinators will handle smaller-scale events in the regions)
  • Ensure that all content is focused, delivers value to the attendee and can live beyond the in-person event in a variety of formats

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience in events strategy & management or in an experiential marketing role with a heavy focus in events/program development
  • Prior experience developing events in the High-Net Worth (NW) marketplace and/or financial services/asset management space preferred
  • A deep understanding and knowledge of class-leading creative event solutions and trends
  • Experience with branding, messaging and content marketing will be necessary
  • An understanding of event audience acquisition and how to hit registration goals and attendance targets
  • An exceptional thinker and collaborator, with an appreciation of the need to make data-driven decisions and a proven ability to solve problems and drive change 
  • Strong analytical skills and proven success in building and managing program measurement systems (dashboards) to capture and analyze relevant data
  • Strong business acumen, relationship management skills and commitment to providing superior customer service
  • Bullet proof under pressure

  • A creative and innovative thinker with strong problem-solving, consulting and influencing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, prioritization and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CMP desired
