As one of our Directors in Investment Operations, you will guide senior managers and their respective teams, providing strategic oversight to a group of financial services professionals, spanning office locations in Southern California and London.  You will be part of our Investment Operations X (IOX) team responsible for enabling production excellence and promoting scalability and greater process optimization while delivering new investment capabilities and services.  Specifically, your scope will include managing the Fixed Income portfolio within IOX and accountability for select IO-wide capabilities (e.g. demand-capacity management, IO operational debt| risk remediation, IO product management, etc.) in partnership with the IOX and IO senior leadership team. This will also include partnering with Investment Operations and Fixed Income stakeholders to bring clarity and focus to solution design to evolve our Fixed Income capabilities and services.  Additionally, you will have accountability for end to end emphasis in areas such as operational debt remediation and/or demand and capacity management.  You’ll also play a critical role as part of the IOX senior leadership team, working together with the other IOX Director to provide overall leadership to the broader organization of around 50 associates.

You will influence the development of technology and analytic solutions that enable flexibility, agility and scalability.

  • Working collaboratively with other IO directors and functional leaders, you will mitigate risk for Capital Group in a cost-effective manner, ensuring that operating results achieve the right balance of quality, cost and service ensure that operations allow stakeholders to deliver on their commitments to investors and the CG community. You will ensure broad consideration of CG-wide issues and impacts relating to operating effectiveness, risk, service to investors and stakeholders.
