Global Client Services is part of Capital Group’s Investment Operations organization, with offices in Los Angeles, London, Singapore, and Tokyo. GCS services Capital’s institutional clients, prospects and intermediaries, and supports institutional marketing, sales and distribution teams. The mission of Global Client Services is to deliver a superior client experience and enable the distribution of Capital Group’s investment services globally. 

Based in Los Angeles, the Investment Information Services Analyst will provide key organizational investment strategy and portfolio information to institutional investors, fund shareholders, and consultants. The individual in this role will also partner with senior staff on complex projects, analysis and related tasks as well as identify opportunities to streamline department processes, applications and system efficiencies. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive investment reporting to Capital Group’s institutional client base; including results, portfolio characteristics, portfolio attribution, investment commentary and organizational statistics. 
  • Monitor the integrity of information, investigate and resolve discrepancies. Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Provide data expertise to Client Service and Sales and Marketing teams, as well as complex client queries on quantitative data.
  • Support enterprise wide initiatives and strategic objectives. 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience within investment management or financial services industry highly preferred, undergraduate degree required. CFA a plus.
  • Familiarity with investments and general portfolio statistics, with the ability to analyze data and information.
  • Knowledge of standard processes, tools, and deliverables for projects and business analysis, including: requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, testing through implementation, and on-going support with business and IT partners.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, establish credibility, and obtain buy-in from key stakeholders.
