The Office Services Meetings group provides meeting scheduling and planning support for all on-site meetings globally, including but not limited to meeting room space, meeting equipment, catering, web conferencing, audio conferencing, and various video conferencing systems.
 
As a Meeting Group Manager based in Los Angeles, you will be responsible for leading a team that provides space and resource support to internal and external contacts, to coordinating and executing complex meetings around the world. You will work independently on standardized/recurring assignments and under the direct supervision of core senior staff on complex projects, analyses, and tasks, including process management, project management, team engagement and management, and innovation.   
 
Responsibilities:
• Work as part of the Meetings Group leadership team to steward Capital's meeting scheduling, meeting support and overall meeting experience
• Work independently on complex projects, trend and business analyses, and needed tasks for Office Services
• Assist Meetings Group managers and associates in providing meeting planning, scheduling and technical support for all on-site meetings globally
• Manages projects by collaborating to set expectations, developing project plans and activities, coordinating project work, communicating progress, and achieving and communicating results
 
Qualifications:
• Five years of management experience required; project mangement and internal meeting space and resource planning experience desired
• Demonstrated technical proficiency with scheduling systems, as well as MS Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote
• A skilled communicator with strong leadership, communications, and written skills to influence and inspire confidence across all levels and geographies
• Strong vendor and partner manager
• Demonstrates sound judgment and problem solving skills in a fast pace environment
• Desire to provide superior customer service and work in a team environment
