Based in Los Angeles, the Associate will play a role on the Portfolio Guideline Analysis team which provides outstanding service to the Investment Group and Legal, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met. The Associate will also provide guidance and support across Global Investment Control, as well as to other departments within Capital Group, when working on transactions for our funds and client accounts.
•    Coordinate, implement and collaborate on operational controls for transactions for our funds and client accounts.
•    Review and interpret the rules, guidelines, and regulations for client accounts.
•    Code rules into compliance system to ensure our funds and client accounts remain in compliance.
•    Work on compliance-related tasks and initiatives, including guideline changes and new account launches.
•    Undergraduate degree and knowledge of/interest in investment management industry required.
•    Technologically proficient with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
•    Highly analytical with the ability to think broadly to assess multiple aspects and impacts of an issue.
•    Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
