Information and Insights (I&I) is a global operational team with locations in Los Angeles, Irvine, London, and Singapore. As a Results Analyst, based in the Los Angeles, CA location you will work in the teams responsible for delivering accurate and timely results data to the Investment Group (Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts), Marketing, clients, shareholders, and other teams. 

This Results Analyst role will be responsible for providing portfolio performance and attribution in support of the Investment Group (Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts). This will include validation, maintenance, reporting and analysis of the capital system investment portfolios.


  • Performance measurement – calculate, validate, maintain, and interpret portfolio results for Portfolio Managers & Research Analysts as part of the Capital System
  • Performance evaluation – portfolio attribution, style analysis, benchmark analysis, and other results based analytics
  • Custom Index maintenance – maintain custom indices for internal portfolios including custom calculations & data management
  • Client support – explain calculations and methodologies, research & resolve issues, and fulfill ad-hoc requests
  • Project support – partner with other business units, our Information Technology Group, or external vendors on system evaluation, design and implementation
  • Process optimization – continuously develop & evolve best practices, increase efficiency, and enhance capabilities
  • Risk mitigation - design and develop business processes, risk control measures, and metric evaluations to meet evolving business needs


Candidates are preferred to have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, MIS, or other quantitative field. Candidates should also have:

  • Professional experience in an analytical/quantitative business role
  • Excellent problem solving skills and intellectual curiosity
  • High service orientation, integrity, and ownership of work
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interpersonal savvy and an ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • An ability to analyze both data and processes with an attention to detail
  • Excellent MS Excel Skills (e.g. functions, charting, and pivot tables)
  • Domain knowledge in performance measurement and attribution is preferred
  • A related charter (CIPM or CFA) is preferred
  • SQL knowledge is preferred
