As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant based in our Los Angeles or Irvine, CA office, you will directly impact and shape Capital’s legacy by attracting and hiring a diverse pool of high impact talent. You will have the unique opportunity to identify, assess and attract talent across all areas of the organization by partnering with senior business and HR leaders on search execution for highly impactful roles. You will flex across all business groups working on roles that are our most complex and require exceptional business acumen to quickly learn and execute. Your key responsibilities will include each aspect of the talent lifecycle, including client relationship management, search strategy development, candidate identification and engagement, leadership assessment and selection, and succession management.
 
Responsibilities:
•Partnering with senior business leaders and Human Resources Business Partners on role design to effectively articulate the opportunity in a compelling position description
•Creating and executing robust search strategies, including research to map targeted talent pools
•Conducting interviews using a competency based assessment model to draw accurate conclusions about alignment with Capital Group’s leadership framework, technical skills and organizational requirements
•Consulting with hiring managers and other stakeholders throughout the search to provide updates, facilitate candidate debrief discussions and drive to a successful outcome
•Managing relationships with a network of external partners including retained, contingent and research based recruiting firms
•Participating in broader HR related projects to advance Capital Group’s people strategy
 
Qualifications:
•7+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, and/or leadership recruiting, retained search experience is a plus
•Demonstrated agility to apply recruiting expertise across a variety of functions and the learning agility to quickly understand a broad range of business groups unique attributes and priorities
•Demonstrated knowledge of and expertise in complex search processes, competency based interviewing, exceptional candidate and client management skills, and a sophisticated understanding of compensation practices
•A self-starter with excellent judgment, emotional intelligence and a high degree of integrity
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively deliver important messages across a diverse group of associates and senior leaders
•Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
•A demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and turn information into actionable business insights
•Financial Services and/or Investment Management experience is strongly desired
•Bachelor’s degree required
