As an Executive Recruiting Coordinator based in our Los Angeles, CA office you will play a key role on the Executive Recruiting team responsible for attracting and hiring transformational leaders at Capital Group. As an integral member of the executive search team, you will be the primary contact for our internal business leaders, candidates, and external partners throughout the search process. You will serve as a project manager to ensure the efficiency of our recruiting processes and the delivery of a best in class executive recruiting function. In this role, you will leverage your strength in problem solving, passion for organizing chaos and enthusiasm for creating a ‘white glove’ experience for all candidates and clients throughout the recruiting process.


What you’ll do:


Support the Executive Recruiting team by:

  • Provide Talent Acquisition (TA) operations support on the most high-level, visible and complex executive searches, working in partnership with TA leaders and Senior Executive Recruiters to provide a flawless client and candidate experience
  • Understand the search process and key milestones to effectively anticipate and plan for key events and deliverables; participate in search update meetings to closely track the progress of searches
  • Partner with TA team members to coordinate meetings, interviews, and other search related events; keep recruiters abreast of candidate scheduling and interview processes and/or challenges
  • Manage the requisition processes in SuccessFactors from initiation to completion; process candidate movement through the system as needed; coordinate and monitor the pre-employment process


Manage the candidate experience by:

  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communication with candidates from initial contact, including: scheduling, coordinate, and confirm on site interviews; collaborate with administrative staff for the senior leaders and interview panel
  • Ensure on-site candidates have a positive interviewing experience at Capital Group by being their main point of contact throughout their day and ensuring the interview schedule flows smoothly
  • Process candidate expense reports and submit to the finance department for timely reimbursements


What we are looking for:


  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience working with multiple senior leaders in a large corporate environment, ideally within a professional services or retained executive search firm
  • Experience with electronic calendaring and coordinating complex travel arrangements, both domestic and international
  • A self-starter with excellent judgment, exceptional communication skills, strong customer service and professionalism; strong problem-solver with initiative to work creatively and support managers proactively in a team environment
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability; excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Pitch-perfect and nuanced written and verbal communication; high EQ to deliver nuanced (and sometimes sensitive) information
  • High degree of technological proficiency and demonstrates in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and other technologies in order to heighten productivity and manage time well
  • Bachelor’s degree required
