Come grow with us

At Capital Group, how we work is defined by shared values that include absolute integrity, respect and collaboration. But it’s more than that. It’s smart and highly driven people united in purpose to serve our investors and one another.

Bring your energy and unique perspective to Capital and you’ll have the opportunity to grow with us professionally, personally, and financially. You’ll be part of a team that genuinely cares about helping you succeed. You’ll work alongside talented colleagues, many of whom build long careers while progressing through multiple roles, establishing lifelong friendships and making a difference in our communities. In return for your contributions, you’ll receive premier compensation and benefits, and a company-funded retirement plan that ranks among the most generous.

Interested in an immersive and intensive summer experience where you’re uncomfortable in your ‘comfort zone’? Apply to be a TAP intern!

Over ten weeks, you will not only be challenged in the traditional ‘interesting project you feel amazing after completing’ sense, but also challenged to try new things, meet new people and have new experiences.

At Capital Group, one of the most experienced and respected investment management firms worldwide, we’re firm believers that life experience is just as important as job experience, and that our differences make us better. We’re committed to an environment where we can bring our true, best selves to work.

What is the TAP summer experience like?
•    A meaningful assignment in a department like Marketing, Research, Sales, Strategy, and Operations. No coffee runs or photocopies.
•    Personalized career coaching, continuous professional development, and customized training. You’ll learn every day.
•    Exposure and full access to different departments and a handful of Capital’s senior-most leaders to build a broad understanding of our business. We want you to know who you work with.
•    A group project that encourages creativity and collaboration, with a final presentation to associates and managers. Teamwork is key.
•    Social and networking events with interns, associates, and senior leaders. Make connections and make friends.
•    10 weeks in our Los Angeles offices from June to August. Trust us, LA is awesome.
•    Competitive compensation package, in addition to relocation costs. Basically, you get paid to experiment and learn. Not bad.

At the end of the internship, you have the opportunity to interview for a full-time TAP position (a 2-year global rotational program).

Who are we looking for?
•    Current undergraduates in their junior year
•    Any and all majors
•    GPA of 3.3 or higher
•    Right to work in the United States for the summer
•    Curious, passionate leaders with a growth mindset

How do you apply?
Please submit the following documents:

•    Resume
•    Transcript (An unofficial copy is sufficient. Please upload as a work sample in the Documents section.)
•    Instead of a cover letter, please submit a 1-2 paragraph answer to the following: What is something unique we should know about you?

Deadline to apply is January 11, 2019. If you have any questions, please email TAP@capgroup.com.
