Our Investment Operations group has approximately 900 associates globally, supporting core components of our investment offerings and growth of the business. Core Operations supports the investment process and distribution efforts by performing accounting, fund administration, and securities operations for the investment portfolios available to Capital Group’s global clients. The department’s strong accounting and finance capabilities, along with the agility to build new capabilities, enable superior investment outcomes and service for our clients. Key responsibilities include daily valuation of securities, trade processing and settlement, corporate actions research and processing, collateral management, and accounting, including net asset value determination and financial reporting.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Research, source, and analyze data and company information using various vendor sources
  • Perform time-critical functions on a daily basis
  • Gather and verify information from various systems and sources
  • Interact and partner with associates at different levels internally and externally

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of analytical and/or financial services experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn various accounting related systems
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated accuracy in a deadline driven environment
  • Passion for problem solving and multi-tasking
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
