The Application Services Team provides application development and support services in support of Capital Group’s strategy to build and maintain high quality technical solutions that maximize business value.

As a Solutions Engineer IV based in San Antonio or Irvine, you will play a critical role in solution delivery through SDLC activities to maintain contact center solutions ensuring these solutions support current and future business needs of Capital Group.  

Additionally, as a Solutions Engineer IV you will be responsible as a hands on technologist for leading the team in the overall process of end to end solution ownership and strategy along with performing independent and group research into new contact center technology. 


  • Leads and personally contributes to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis, development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for one or more medium to high complexity business capabilities and/or products. 
  • Demonstrates thought leadership and deep understanding thru analysis and improvement recommendations to multifaceted business processes, application features, data change to resolve defects or enhance business capabilities
  • Influences business and technology roadmaps for product/solution by working in close collaboration with business, technology partners and vendors.  
  • Proactively and independently works in identifying and resolving production issues escalated by our production support team


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business systems analysis, development and testing
  • Subject matter expert with contact center processes, applications, and systems. Genesys application preferred
  • Strong experience with requirements gathering, systems analysis, functional design, documentation, problem resolution, and release management
  • Skilled with utilizing relational databases and SQL
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps fundamentals and practices
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients
