Business Analyst – Data and Tools - Manager

Role context: EACG is now embarking on the implementation of its Long-term Strategy which was approved by the CG Management Committee in 2020Many aspects of the plan will require investment in data, analytics and tools and EACG is forming a dedicated team to drive the formulation and implementation of these requirements.

Role summary: The Business Data and Analytics Manager of the BDAT team will be responsible for driving the understanding of EACG's ongoing technology and data requirements, prioritizing the different demands and then working with the BDAT team to implement the prioritized initiatives.

Primary responsibilities/essential functions:

Strategy:

  • Responsible for working with EACG's leadership team and departments on EACG's ongoing data, analytics and systems requirements
  • Interfacing with key EACG business partners - e.gITG, IO Data, Results- and broader technology change initiatives that are supporting EACG's growth plan e.g. CDD
  • Working with senior stakeholders across Sales, Product and Marketing to understand how data, analytics and tools can support their strategyEnsuring we're setting the right foundations for the short and long-term
  • Ownership of initiatives to drive change through automation and systems within EACG

Data:

  • Sourcing new data sources across our core markets and ensuring acquisition is additive/on budget/able to be integrated
  • Partnering with the I0 data team to enhance the quality/consistency of IG data for material automation and self-service delivery to internal associates

Tools:

  • Developing the toolkit for EACG across Sales, Product and Marketing, ensuring we are keeping in line with industry best practice and only bringing in new tools that are additive to our current tech suite Be the central intake internally for listening to new ideas and feasibility analysis
  • Focusing on and enhancing the internal user experience across our toolkit, ensuring tools are integrated where possible to provide a seamless experience. Ensure clarity on how to source data where a tool is not available and enhance self-service capabilities
  • Partnering with IT to enhance our infrastructure, identifying key gaps that we need to fill as we scale
  • Managing large scale projects across technical and business processes, ensuring timely delivery
  • Balancing local market needs with the requirements to be globally consistent in reporting and enablement

Skills/qualifications:

  • Industry knowledge of best practice around tools and data for distribution
  • Knowledge of critical EACG systems such as SFDC, Seismic
  • Good knowledge of data concepts
  • Strong stakeholder management of both internal and external parties
  • Experience of managing third party vendors and consultants
  • Project management skills
