Position Summary:

The Country Marketing Associate (CMA) will be providing support to the local Country Marketing Manager on executing the marketing strategy to accomplish annual marketing and business goals and markedly improve our ANZ client experience.

 

 

Role Overview:

 

As the CMA, the individual will:

 

• Plan, schedule and deploy specific elements of the marketing toolkit for the local market: regular client email communications, web page updates, Sales to Client collateral, and localise the toolkit when needed

 

• Plan and execute on agreed local marketing tactics that have been identified to support the local business and marketing plans. These include but are not limited to: execution of events/webinars, marketing collateral, Brand Campaign, product campaigns.

 

• Build and manage the lead generation campaigns in Exact Target and Salesforce, and report on the progression of leads.

 

• Work with central marketing and local vendors to ensure that all deliverables for local campaigns are executed to plan

 

• Manage the Always On social programs and channels (LinkedIn/Facebook)

 

• Coordinate and monitor the tracking of predefined and agreed local program metrics. The individual will use this data to share insights and recommendations for other Marketing teams and local Sales stakeholders.

 

• Collaborate with other EACG Marketing teams to share best practice regarding strategic plans for our marketing channels (web, email, events, PR, content) and functions (brand, design, content)

 

• Work within a local Marketing infrastructure (agencies and partners) to enable execution of local Marketing activity

 

• Work closely with the Country Marketing Manager and Sales teams for ANZ.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

This role has been designed to provide support to the local Country Marketing Manager. The CMA will be directly responsible for supporting marketing activities for ANZ across both institutional and financial intermediary audiences. The key responsibilities of this role include:

 

• Providing support on the delivery of a cohesive marketing strategy across all client touch points in the local market. These include but are not limited to advertising, content, events, PR, digital and the marketing toolkit.

 

• Understanding the local customer/client journey to select, and invest in Capital Group products and services, and incorporating client needs into marketing tactics.

 

• Collaborate with other EACG marketing teams to share best practice regarding strategic plans for our marketing channels (advertising, digital, PR, events, content) and functions (Brand, design, content).

 

• Developing and implementing digital tactics as part of the regional marketing strategy, which include but is not limited to web, email, social, SEO, SEM, advertising, content, automation and analytics and insights.

 

• Tracking of predefined and agreed local program metrics with our Insights and Analytics team, including lead generation activities. The individual will use this data to create insights and recommendations for other marketing teams and local Sales stakeholders.

 

• Working with central marketing team functions, including Publishing production, Digital, Events, Brand & Client Experience to ensure that all deliverables for local campaigns and marketing tactics are produced to plan.

 

• Providing regional input on the development of audience and product focused content to the product marketing team

 

• Partnering with central and local marketing teams on the implementation of central and local campaigns

 

 

Skills & Experience:

 

• 2 – 5 years plus marketing experience of working for an asset management firm in ANZ.

 

• Comfortable working with a broad variety of stakeholders,

 

• Possesses strong writing, speaking and interpersonal communication skills

 

• Ability to manage through ambiguity and in a fast-moving environment.

 

• Strong skills and knowledge across the full marketing mix including:

 

• Understanding of all aspects of modern client experience and marketing factors (digital, mobile, social, and data/analytics).

 

• Events – experience with planning, budgeting for and project managing events

 

• Advertising – digital, social, programmatic, print

 

• Strong written and oral communication skills–English (native)

 

• High levels of energy and commitment, innovation and creativity
