Change in the world today has never been more constant, unpredictable, and fast-paced. The practice of change management is one of the longest-standing in understanding how humans think and organize to drive behavioral shifts and achieve successful outcomes. Today, there is wide recognition that change management is critical throughout the change journey as a strategic means to driving value – enabling successful change outcomes while building people and organizational change agility. Capital Group’s Change Practice and oversight Council is responsible for propelling Capital’s change agenda and accelerating the discipline of change management across the enterprise.

 

As Change Management Project Lead, you will be an integral part of Capital Group's Change Management Practice and help establish the Center of Expertise (CoE) to ensure we meet the current and future business needs of the enterprise. You will contribute to the ongoing management and maturity of the practice, as well as be accountable for delivering measurable impact against agreed upon business outcomes for specific change initiatives. You will be part of the team to leverage and evolve existing Change methodology and toolset, roadmap, resources and depth/breadth of experience, and relationships with change partners across Capital and externally.  You will recruit and grow practitioners, in alignment with a relentless focus on talent.

 

  • Program Management: Drive program and project deliverables, provide strategic direction, escalation management, and deliver regular communications to program stakeholders. Take on large change leadership responsibility in this role.

  • Apply a change management methodology and toolkit to drive change management activities. Design the change management solutions appropriate to create readiness as well as execute and sustain the change successfully.

  • You can use change methodology and interventions to embed effective change management throughout the organization, resulting in greater impact, adoption, and value realization of key initiatives.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Organization Development, Organization Effectiveness, Industrial Psychology, etc.). Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in leading large-scale and complex transformative programs.

  • You thrive on challenges and enjoy partnering with others to achieve meaningful results.

  • You’re curious about the human aspect to change organizations and have successful experience helping leaders and organization navigate the non-linear path to sustaining change.

  • You’ve partnered cross-functionally to solve complex problems and have the confidence and courage to add value.

  • You are a skilled communicator. You place a high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging. You’ve fine-tuned your communication style to partner with a variety of personalities.

  • You are an efficient, strategic problem solver who is comfortable working independently, thinks holistically about key issues, and helps influence positive outcomes.

  • You have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively.
